These Wood Frog Eggs are close to hatching.
There are over a hundred wood frog egg masses here. Each egg mass has about 750 eggs on average. Thus, there are about 75,000 wood frog eggs here. Obviously most of these won't survive to adulthood, or we would be overrun with wood frogs!
